Star Wars Battlefront Will Not Support Cross Platform Multiplayer

DICE has reported that cross-platform play for Star Wars Battlefront will not exist supported. The EA Star Wars Twitter folio made the following announcement on Star Wars Battlefront:

"If you lot mean tin they play together via cross-platform? Star Wars Battlefront will not support cantankerous-platform functionality."

While it would certainly take been nice if cross-platform multiplayer was supported for Star Wars Battlefront, this should come to no surprise, as cantankerous-platform play is but possible in very few titles so far, such as Final Fantasy XIV and the upcoming Street Fighter V.

DICE has recently noted that the environment in Star Wars Battlefront will make y'all feel like yous're really inside the Star Wars universe and they strive to make players feel immersed in the diverse planets of the game.

We will exist seeing the outset public gameplay footage of Star Wars Battlefront at E3 2022, during EA'southward printing conference on June 15.
